Ultrasound
Ultrasound lets us see organs moving in real time, without surgery.
Non-invasive and painlessAbdominal organs and soft tissueEchocardiograms for the heart
Ultrasound uses sound waves to create live, moving images of the inside of your pet, with no surgery, no radiation, and usually no sedation. It is one of the best ways to examine soft tissue and organs that X-ray cannot show in detail.
Our doctors use it to look at the liver, kidneys, bladder, and intestines, to guide biopsies, and to check the heart with echocardiograms.
Because it happens on site during your visit, we often have answers, and a plan, the same day.
